Housworth Construction recently completed a full roof and gutter replacement for a homeowner in the Canton, GA area. The crew went above and beyond to protect the property’s beautiful Japanese maple tree and landscaping, carefully laying decking sheets beneath a blue tarp before beginning work. Once the area was secured, they removed the ridge shingles and installed Owens Corning Supreme 3-Tab shingles, replacing the old hail-damaged roof that also showed black algae streaking. The team also upgraded the gutter system from standard 5-inch gutters to a 6-inch K-Style system for improved water flow and protection.

To enhance durability and performance, Housworth Construction installed Owens Corning’s Weather Lock Self-Sealing Ice & Water Barrier in each valley, an upgrade from the homeowner’s previous valley metal. This superior material provides long-lasting leak prevention and resilience against Georgia’s unpredictable weather. The crew also improved attic ventilation by balancing the home’s intake and outtake system and added a drip edge along the rake to bring the home up to current IRC building code standards. With these comprehensive upgrades, the homeowner now has a stronger, better-protected, and more efficient roofing system.

Converting from a conventional bathroom shower design to a present-day, shower upgrade was the vision this homeowner in Atlanta GA sought. Jason wanted to increase the square footage of the shower so he asked Housworth to design a more spacious shower shower environment. 

That is exactly what we did for the homeowner. We remodeled the Reno shower and created additional shelving with niche-recessed shelving. This allows for a more spacious shower and eliminates your essentials getting in the way. 

In the end, Jason loved the transformation of his old shower. Housworth Construction did a great job with the Bathroom remodel.
