Gutters & Downspouts Case Studies: Gutter/Downspout Water Drainage Inspection and Plan in Suwanee, Ga

Challenge

This homeowner had a major drainage issue causing surrounding grass areas to be come moldy and soft. The house has 21 downspouts that were counted during inspection, and at most of the downspouts, the drainage issue was tangibly visable. Specifically, the water drainage problem was most clearly visable in the customer's backyard. A large amount of the grassland there was heavily eroded to the point of fungi and moss growing near the concrete walkways.

Solution

In accordance to the customer's drainage problem, we came up with a specific plan for each of the 21 downspouts. These plans allowed us to properly guide the water flow to locations that would not be harmful to the surrounding grass areas at the house. They also allowed us to prevent this issue from happening again in the future.
